There’s not but one thing left that I can do for Kaitlyn, and that’s buy a nice tombstone for her grave. I have been looking online and can’t really find what I want from the few companies that have a website and show their samples. Unfortunately, I don’t know what she would really like, but I want something that is not ordinary. We visited her grave today to take the dead flowers away and looked at the tombstones there. Ones that really stand out to me that I like are the black granite ones that are smooth and slick all over and provide a place to put their picture. It really appealed to me and my husband and though I know she’s not really there, I want something special for her memory. Does anyone know any good places around here or within an hour or two away that we could buy such a stone?

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
