Sunglasses

Tonight I finally asked Allyn to bring me the contents of Kaitlyn’s car when he cleaned it out after she died. There was not much in it because she was so neat. A few check stubs, registration and so on that go in glove compartments, 1 million clean napkins, a few CDs, her TomTom navigator, a magazine about the orchestra, an umbrella, a quick medical reference booklet, and in the trunk two boogie boards and a beach towel. But the most special of all are her sunglasses. She wore them alot. I put them on. I cried. I cried through the whole box I cleaned out..

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
