Facebook entry #1

I’ve decided to put in a few of the facebook entries that were written on Kaitlyn’s page by her friends after she died on my blog. I want everyone to know how well thought of she was by all that knew her. I hope they don’t mind, since their comments are public. First of all though, I want to include the very last comment she made on facebook and that was to her very good friend Neal just 2 days before she took her life. It was a funny post, sent by someone that seemed to be happy. This was on 4-9-13. (she was an avid runner)

“This is most definitely us; right, Neal?”

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..

It’s a funny post mostly because it’s true. We both took great pleasure in eating lots of good food after we ran. It was a huge motivator for both of us. We loved sharing that.

I miss her when I run, but I also run to remember her.

You are wonderful Neal, just like she was. She was happy with you up until the end, the last post. I know you were one of the people that made her happy the most. Too bad love could not keep her here because if it could, she would have never went away.
