The funds collected for this goes directly to the Kaitlyn Elkins Memorial Fund at Wake Forest School of Medicine’s wellness center. So hopefully medical students will report problems with depression and actually seek help without fear of being kicked out of school and for suicide prevention at the school. My daughter Stephanie Elkins Alford started this fund and all money raised goes to Kaitlyn’s fund at the Wake Forest School of Medicine. When Kaitlyn died, this was set up in her name in memory and honor for her to be there as long as the school stands.
