…….since my beautiful Kaitlyn took her own life.
She was 17 here and just before going to the prom standing in front of our Wisteria. That sweet smelling Wisteria. Kaitlyn died when our Wisteria were in full bloom years later.
“What is the final truth, then? Is it that they live, that there’s beauty in existing as you are?”

About gatito2
My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
There is beauty in Heaven. We only get a glimpse of it here on earth. Your daughter is one such beauty. Her prom picture is lovely.

Thank you. It is very, very hard to deal with and that is the biggest understatement in the world.

A friend of mine took his own life last Tuesday. I know what it feels like to lose a loved one by that. I will admit, a mother daughter relationship is much different than a friend relationship.

Yes. I wrote it present tense because I know to you she is still very present in your thoughts. I meant it in the kindest way.

Oh yes, I realized you put it in present tense, I was not offended, 🙂 I just wanted to say she was somewhere even though I know you know….I just felt the need to say it again. I know you meant it in a kind way and I promise that is how I took it. Thank you for your kind words. It means so much to me.
