Medical School Dark Side

This is the world of which my daughter Kaitlyn was about to be thrust upon. She never acted or said that she feared it, and talked about how she looked forward to it. But someone that is depressed I don’t know how they could have taken this. Did medical school, which she seemed to thrive on make her depression worse? Or would there have been the same outcome no matter what she did? I will never know, nor will anyone else.

She was just beginning orientation into her 3rd year of medical school when she took her life.

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
