I wish I had known of such things as this book discusses when Kaitlyn was a child. Dr. Webb, who wrote this book, let me include a short article of his in my book. My discovery of him and what he teaches gave me the biggest aha moment since Kaitlyn’s death. It’s the biggest realization of how and why it could be possible that my daughter no longer wanted to live. Had I known of these things, so much could have been done to help her. As it was, I went around thinking nothing was wrong her whole life. I thought since she was so very intelligent that all I had to do was make sure she was stimulated intellectually. And of course she got all the love a person could possibly get from us. I did not know she had unique emotional needs due to the that very intelligence. It saddens me that I did not know these things before she died. But at least other people can learn this before it’s too late.

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
