Residents and Medical Students-Depression and Suicide

Dr. Louise B. Andrew, who let me use one of her articles in my book, and also has the website about depression in medical students and physicians, as well as a list a mile long of other credentials, read my book and she has a paragraph about it on her website It includes a link to my book. I had sent her a copy of my book as she was a contributor to it. Thank you so much Dr. Andrew. This is a very important area (as well as many others) that I was wanting to reach. Highly achieving young people can be plagued with existential depression.

I would like to say to any medical student, resident or physician that may read this post that this website has a wealth of information on burnout, depression, mental illness and suicide in the above listed population and has many resources, info and help on the site.

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
