Last night I sat on my front steps just before dark because the moon was so pretty and I wanted to see if the dragonflies would come out. They, or most of the time just one, usually fly past my glass front door at this time every night.
This video may be annoying to look at because my hand was not steady and it goes from one thing to another in a very unprofessional manner, but it shows some things.
All alone with my thoughts on my steps I sat and used the video camera.
You will see around the tree some things flying….those are dragonflies that have so much significance for me. To me they represent Kaitlyn’s spirit. I show the full moon in all its beauty and wonder where Kaitlyn is in the universe. Then scan over to the edge of the woods where I always imagine Kaitlyn standing there with her long blond hair and black dress ready to go to the symphony or play or whatever. Then you will see her memorial flower garden and later see the garden dragonfly ornament that glows in the dark.
Then you will see my kitties. My cat Dagny in the background in his bed and the one in front is Kaitlyn’s cat Gatito…..where he waits every single night. He waits.

Thank you for sharing this scene- the surroundings of your home are quite lovely, with the open spaces! And what a beautiful clear image of the moon, as well as Kaitlyn’s memorial garden.
I am glad that you feel that you will always write: after all, through this medium you have helped so many people, and I hope, for at least a few precious moments, found peace and purpose. I do hope that you’lI have the opportunity to see Stephanie soon: it is obvious how soothing and comforting being with each other must be. Not to mention, how fun 🙂

Thank you. We live out in the country so there are wide spaces everywhere. 🙂 We live on 3 acres of land. It was almost dark so the colors did not show well but I really like how the moon looked when I zoomed in. The color was different and you could see the craters so well.
