“How To Get Naked With Your Doctor” by Pamela Wible MD

Dr. Pamela Wible is a family physician that has practiced for many years. She has a website and the way I found it was when I came across an article she wrote on physician suicide. I posted a comment to her post and she immediately emailed me. A few minutes later we were talking on the phone (she lives in Oregon, I live in North Carolina). She talked to me for an hour and she is very kind and sincere. She has been doing much work in the research of physician and medical student suicide and depression, she has had many articles published in many places, she has written a book, she does a retreat for doctors regularly, and many, many other things.

We have since talked a few times and keep up with each other and I admire what she is doing. She even read my book bless her. This video is about a way to have a practice where it is less stressful for the doctor and patient and she has put this clinic in place at her own practice and it has been working very well.

If you are a medical student, physician, or simply curious, please give this Ted talk a watch.

Also, here is her website, which also has a blog section: http://www.idealmedicalcare.org/

About gatito2

My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..
