Romantic movies we loved

Kaitlyn and I liked all kinds of movies as I’ve written before. We really did like romance movies too, but very interesting ones. For instance, we LOVED Pride and Prejudice, both the older BBC version and the one with Keira Knightly.

This scene is one of our favorites and I know for sure for me, it’s my very favorite scene.

And we would sigh over this ending (though I don’t think this actual scene was in the book, but I love it).

Ending

Another very romantic movie we loved was one that was wonderful and we love Jane Seymour, was Somewhere in Time. Though the last time we watched it (not even a year ago) Kaitlyn looked over at me and said, “Oh that is so sad.” And that was the last scene. But first, some other scenes we loved.

Now here is the ending but I could not find the scene in one video but one part comes right after the other. This is where Kaitlyn always said, “That’s so sad.” The end of the movie.

So, here are some videos me and Kaitlyn loved. Posting things like this gives me some comfort and some measure of reprieve from the devastating grief I feel. It’s like honoring her memory and reliving the things that we loved together. Now…..the grief comes crashing back in now that this project is over.
