My name is Rhonda. I'm a registered nurse, for the last 20 years, that has not been able to work since the day I learned of my daughter's death by suicide 4-12-13. (She actually died 4-11-13 and her body was not found until the 12th) Me and my husband have been married for 32 years and he's a wonderful man. We grieve in different ways. He works, I write. This is my journey through this horrible land of losing a child..

I admit that I’m fickle, and other rambling thoughts
I sit here before the world, a very fickle person. Somehow I thought that I would be able to quit writing to and about Kaitlyn and it would help me get my mind off of her for one second of … Continue reading
Go rest in peace now Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn, the worst day of my life was 4-12-13 when that policeman told me you had taken your life. My life will never, ever be the same. Some say I was brave, courageous to go online to talk about what … Continue reading

In Memory of Kaitlyn (re-post video)
This deserves to be re-blogged. Her life seemed so beautiful and so was she, inside and out. I took some of Kaitlyn’s pictures off her Facebook and put them in a slide video with one of her favorite singers in … Continue reading

One very special thing
Sometimes I just like to write about special memories I have of Kaitlyn. One of the most special things we did was, whenever we were riding in the car with her daddy driving, me on the passenger side, and her … Continue reading

Dillard’s. That’s the first thing I saw on facebook as I logged on just now. An ad from Dillard’s. Suddenly I am thrust back to mine and Kaitlyn’s last day out together just before her death when we went on … Continue reading
